1   Why can't I add a URL to the Sports/Martial Arts category?
This is considered a main level category and links should be submitted to an appropriate subcategory.
1.1   Q: I can't find an appropriate subcategory under Martial_Arts for my web site.
A: With the exception of shopping and special interest group (Disabled, Women, Christian, etc.), sites are listed according to style. So find the most appropriate style your site fits in and suggest it there.

1.2   Q: I found a sub category for my site but the style name is not spelled correctly, is this a different style?
A: No. Many of the styles come from East Asian origins and there are several different forms of spellings for the same word. For exanple chi and qi are both the same word pronounce "chi". So Jujutsu is Jujitsu, Kenpo is Kempo, Kung Fu is Gung Fu, and etc.

1.3   Q: My school is an eclectic style or teaches several styles. Where should is submit it?
A: Schools that teach an eclectic style should be submited to the most appropriate regional category under Sports/Martial_Arts/Schools_and_Instruction.

2   Why can't my martial art have its own category?
There are many arguably unique martial arts available in the world. However that does not mean they deserve their own category. In order to index the links we are given, we cannot make a category for every martial art no matter how unique. Almost all martial arts, no matter how unique, are be categorized either by type of martial art, country of origin, or other aspects.
2.1   Q: Can I request a new style category in Martial Arts?
A: You may always ask. We take our end users suggestions seriously. However, this does not garantee that the category will be created, only looked into.

3   I submitted my site, why is the description changed?
The editors are tasked with providing a concise, neutral, third-person description of a site which does not use promotional language. Because of this almost all submitted descriptions must be edited before listing the site.
4   My sifu/sensei/teacher wants URLs removed from the index for sites that are:
a) not *official*
b) run by renegades
c) something he doesn't like
Such requests will be denied outright. The editors of this index make no judgement on who is right or wrong, official or no-offical, good or bad. This index lists URLs that have a valid address and have content.
