Frequently Asked Question

Why are events showing twice?

FAQFrequently Asked Questions

Short answer

Duplicate events usually mean the same SportCalendar feed was subscribed more than once, the same competition is included by more than one calendar rule, or another calendar already contains that event.

Key points

  • Check whether the SportCalendar feed is subscribed more than once.
  • Check whether more than one favourite or rule includes the same event.
  • Check whether another calendar already contains the fixture.

More detail

Check calendar subscriptions

Look in your calendar app for more than one SportCalendar subscription. If the same feed has been added twice, remove the duplicate subscription from the calendar app.

Check your SportCalendar selections

An event can be included through more than one favourite or calendar rule. For example, a team and a competition rule may both cover the same fixture.

Check other calendars

Some events may already exist in another personal, work or public calendar. If so, the duplicate is outside SportCalendar and needs to be managed in that calendar.
