Why are future fixtures limited in my calendar?

Quick answer

Some broad sport and competition follows can use a shorter future look-ahead in your synced calendar. This keeps personal calendar feeds quick, focused and reliable while still adding future fixtures automatically as they come into range.

The exact look-ahead can vary by feed. Check Settings or Sync to Calendar for the value that applies to your account.

How different follows behave

Arsenal	Team	Team fixtures use the normal calendar feed behaviour and are not capped by the broad-rule look-ahead.
Wimbledon Final	Specific event	The selected event can be added directly when it matches your calendar feed.
Formula 1	Season-style sport	Sports such as Formula 1 and MotoGP can show the season-style calendar output where available.
La Liga	Whole competition	Fixture-heavy competitions may show fixtures up to your current look-ahead window. More fixtures appear automatically as they enter that window.
Football	Whole sport	Fixture-heavy whole-sport follows may use the same look-ahead window as whole competitions.
Pub match calendar	Venue, business or organisation	Higher-volume shared calendars may need a different setup. Contact Support if you are setting up a feed for a pub, club, workplace, venue or organisation.

Why this happens

Following a team or a specific event usually creates a focused personal calendar. Following an entire fixture-heavy sport or competition can create a much larger feed, especially when schedules contain thousands of future fixtures.

The look-ahead limit keeps the feed practical for normal personal use. It does not mean SportCalendar has stopped updating. As time moves on, future fixtures enter the window and appear in your subscribed calendar automatically after your calendar app next refreshes.

What to do if something looks missing

• If you care about one team, follow the team rather than the whole competition.
• If you care about one event, follow the event directly.
• If you follow a whole sport or competition, check the look-ahead message in Settings or Sync to Calendar.
• If you run a pub, club, workplace, venue or organisation and need a larger shared calendar, contact Support.
