Tips and important notes
Subscribe, do not import
A subscribed web calendar can receive future fixture updates. An imported ICS file is only a snapshot and will not keep changing fixtures up to date.
Refresh timing
Microsoft controls how often Outlook refreshes subscribed calendars, so new fixture changes may not appear immediately.
Common questions
Why should I start in Outlook on the web?
Outlook on the web is the clearest place to add a webcal subscription to your Outlook account. Once the subscription is added there, synced Outlook apps can usually show the same calendar.
Why did Outlook return to an empty Subscribe from web box?
Outlook sometimes returns to the Subscribe from web dialog after importing. If you clicked Import, close the dialog and check your calendar list or calendar view for SportCalendar.
Why can't I see SportCalendar on Outlook mobile?
Make sure you added the subscription to the same Outlook account used on your phone, open Other Calendars and enable SportCalendar from the mobile menu.
Why is my calendar empty after adding it?
The calendar feed only contains fixtures from your SportCalendar rules and favourites. If you have not created rules or selected favourites yet, there may be nothing for Outlook to show.
Why isn't Outlook showing my latest fixtures?
SportCalendar updates your calendar feed whenever your SportCalendar changes. Outlook then decides when to check the subscribed calendar again, so changes may not appear immediately.
Read the refresh guideShould I import an ICS file instead?
No. Importing an ICS file creates a one-time snapshot. Use the Subscribe from web option with your SportCalendar webcal URL so future fixture changes can update automatically.
Can I use the same subscription on multiple devices?
Yes. Add the subscription to your Outlook account on the web, then use that same account on desktop or mobile. Each device may still need the SportCalendar calendar to be visible or enabled.
